There are so many parts of this match to be excited about, I have trouble settling down to write about just one. Two of the most storied programs in college volleyball history will write another chapter. Both programs have so much to be proud of in the past, and are poised to have an outstanding 2024 season.

Stanford has won more national championships than any other program with nine (1992, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2004, 2016, 2018 and 2019). Nebraska has won five (1995, 2000, 2006, 2015 and 2017).
