Lincoln, Neb.—The Nebraska football team practiced in full pads and helmets for just over two and a half hours Tuesday afternoon. The offense worked in Memorial Stadium while the defense practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass field.
Husker Defensive Coordinator Mark Banker addressed the media after practice to discuss the rotation of the defensive linemen in the Huskers’ win against Northwestern on Sept. 24.
“We played eight defensive linemen last week,” Banker said. “So I thought the defensive line was pretty fresh throughout the course of the game.”
Banker also commented on rotating sophomore defensive lineman Mick Stoltenberg back into the defensive tackle rotation.
