The Pinstripe Bowl is not even three weeks old and the football squad’s pursuit of transfers continues. However, as odd as it always seems, Huskers softball will be taking the field in the thick of winter on February 6 in Clearwater, Florida, against Softball America’s pre-season #6 Tennessee.
While it seems the Jordy-mania which steamed into Lincoln in 2023 following 2-time All-American and 2023 WCWS MVP Jordy Bahl’s shocking transfer to Nebraska from national champion Oklahoma is a bit more muted this season, there is nonetheless still considerable excitement around a team which is ranked in the pre-season national top 25 for the second straight year.
