Lincoln – Home games against defending Big Ten regular-season champion Michigan State and Sweet 16 qualifier Purdue highlight the Huskers' 2018-19 conference home schedule, as the Big Ten announced its pairings for the upcoming season on Thursday.
The Big Ten announced last fall that the conference schedule will increase from 18 to 20 games beginning with this season. Each team will have seven opponents they will play both home and away, along with three single-play home and single-play road games.
The Huskers double play matchups feature a pair of 30-win teams in Michigan State and Purdue, which reached the Sweet 16 last season, as well as NIT Champion Penn State.
