The final day of the 2016 Major League Baseball entry draft gave two more selections to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, making it three picks for the Big Red altogether this year.

Junior Lefty P Max Knutson was picked up by the Baltimore Orioles in the 12th round on Saturday. The Arden Hills, Minnesota native had 17 appearances this year for Nebraska, with 5 starts in those appearances. Knudson finished the year with a 3-1 record and 4.38 earned run average.
