Nebraska. LSU. Cornhuskers. Tigers. Some great battles on the gridiron over the years shifted to the diamond this afternoon in Texas at the Frisco College Baseball Classic at Riders Field.
With Cael Frost coming out of his hibernation last night and the Cornhusker offense taking center stage in an 8-3 win over Sam Houston, fans looked forward to a showdown against the number two Bayou Bengals.
Sophomore Ty Horn took the mound for Nebraska in front of an overflow crowd on a perfect day for baseball. Horn was up to the task in the early going, holding the Tigers scoreless through three innings.
