The Nebraska Cornhuskers are just one week away from the start of the regular season, but that doesn't mean they've let up on the recruiting trail - in fact, it has been the exact opposite. Here's all the latest Nebraska recruiting news and rumors you need to know:
Huskers make top group for CB target
Four-star cornerback Elijah Gates (Buena Park, CA) revealed his top 7 school on Twitter, and Nebraska made the cut:

Cal, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, TCU and UCLA also made the cut for Gates.
The 5'10", 170-pounder is ranked as the No. 32 cornerback and No. 255 overall cornerback in the country.
DB target schedules official visit
Four-star defensive back Jaylen Kelly-Powell (Detroit, MI) told 247sports and he will make his official visit to Nebraska on Sept. 2 to see them face Fresno State.
"I know I'm taking an official to Nebraska on September 2nd," he said. "Other than that, I don't know what else. I'm still trying to figure out their schedule, my schedule and put it together.”
Several other top prospects are visiting the Huskers next weekend, including five-star cornerback Darnay Holmes and offensive tackle Foster Sarell, the No. 1 ranked player in the class. Four-star commits Keyshawn Johnson Jr. and Tristan Gebbia, high school teammates of Holmes, will also be in attendance.
The 6'0", 175-pounder is ranked as the No. 19 safety and No. 256 overall prospect in the country.
