Year-End Awards: The Best and Worst of the 2018–19 College Basketball Season

The confetti has fallen, "One Shining Moment" has been sung and we're about to say goodbye for good to another season of college basketball. Hoops fans were spoiled this year, between an exciting regular season, one of the best NCAA tournaments ever, the nightly highlights of Zion Williamson and more. But before we fully turn our focus to next season, we looked back on the best and worst of 2018–19—the best dunk, best shot, breakout player, strangest game, most disappointing team and plenty more. All of the honorees are deserving, but we aimed to limit the number of repeat winners.
