Wisconsin will be without freshman shooting guard Brevin Pritzl for the next few months after he had surgery to repair a broken left foot, a source confirmed to NBCSports.com. The 6-foot-3 Pritzl is expected to miss the next two months and could sit out even more time as he’ll likely be back by late October or early November.
A highly-regarded in-state recruit who can really score, Pritzl is expected to compete for minutes alongside Bronson Koenig in the Wisconsin rotation. The rest of the Badgers competing for that spot are unproven and Pritzl showed a propensity to score and hit perimeter shots when he played in high school.
