New Florida State head coach Willie Taggart plans to hit the ground running -- "there's a lot of work to be done," he said -- now that he's officially the Seminoles' head coach.

Taggart was introduced in a press conference in the Champions Club at Doak Campbell Stadium.

He also touched on recruiting, the hiring of assistant coaches and how much the Florida State program means to him.

Taggart said he struggled with the decision to leave Oregon. A huge turning point came when his 16-year-old son, Willie Jr., came to him and encouraged him to chase his dreams.
