Willie Fritz to Tulane: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Georgia Southern head coach Willie Fritz is reportedly set to move on and take over the same position at Tulane after accepting an offer Friday from the Green Wave.

Pete Thamel and Thayer Evans of Sports Illustrated passed along word of the hire and noted Fritz will be tasked with turning around a program that went 15-34 during four seasons under Curtis Johnson.

Fritz, 55, brings an innovative offense style to Tulane after tallying a 17-7 record across two seasons at Georgia Southern. The Eagles went 8-4 this season and took Georgia to overtime before falling just short against the SEC squad.
