Deontay Wilder feels like an unstoppable force. Even though he’s coming off a significant injury, the WBC heavyweight champion hasn’t really been challenged in the boxing ring in his professional career. Wilder (37-0, 36 KOs) will take on relative unknown Gerald Washington this Saturday in Birmingham, Alabama, but the champ has his eyes on unifying the world titles.
“2017 is definitely my time,” Wilder told CBS Sports. “We’re looking to unify the division and I feel very, very strongly about it.
