Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders discussed Saturday's viral postgame exchange with Colorado State signal caller Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi on his podcast 2Legendary with Shedeur Sanders.
The conversation was caught on hot mics as Sanders rejected Fowler-Nicolosi's handshake following Colorado's 28-9 victory.
"After the game, I said something to the Colorado State quarterback, because he was talking crazy on social media, and he was really doing it for the clicks," Sanders said (1:50 mark of the video below.
Sanders continued: "I said what I had to say to him, because he wasn't telling the truth in nothing that he was saying.
