Utah Utes defensive coordinator Morgan Scalley has been suspended indefinitely while a review is conducted after it was revealed he used a racial slur in a text message in 2013.
University of Utah athletic director Mark Harlan announced the suspension in a statement Friday night.
"The use of any form of racist language is not only antithetical to our policies and our values, but it is an affront to all of us, especially our African-American community members," Harlan said.
