Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer will retire at the end of the season, Yahoo! Sports' Pete Thamel reports.
Meyer, 54, has spent the last seven seasons with the Buckeyes, leading them to one national championship and three Big Ten titles and will step down after the team's Rose Bowl game against Washington.
According to the report, offensive coordinator Ryan Day will be the new head coach.
Day took over for Meyer when he was suspended for the first three games of this season after his handling of domestic abuse allegations against former wide receivers coach Zach Smith.
