Kentucky lost at Tennessee on Tuesday night, which was a development that dropped the Wildcats' record to 16-6. They're now 3-3 in their past six games and in possession of a resume that features just two top-50 RPI wins and five losses to schools ranked outside of the top 70 -- specifically UCLA, LSU, Ohio State, Tennessee and Auburn.
Simply put, that's not good.
And just when it looked like the Wildcats might be turning the so-called corner.
This time last week, they were coming off of a nice victory at Arkansas and a dominant win over Vanderbilt, and they were getting ready to murder Missouri.
