UCLA football players will be throwing their hats (or helmets) into the creative college football uniform ring and honoring the Navy SEALs in Saturday's matchup with Washington State.
The matte black helmets feature a bone frog, the unofficial SEAL logo, in blue and gold, UCLA's traditional colors.
This move of solidarity should come as no surprise from a Bruins team that has trained with the SEALs in years past.
Kudos to UCLA for finding a unique way to honor a well-respected branch of the U.S. military beyond the traditional stars and stripes.
