Top HS player Giles tears ACL, out for season

The best high school player in the class of 2016, Harry Giles, has suffered a major knee injury that will prevent him from playing his senior season.

Multiple reports on Thursday morning state Giles partially tore the ACL in his right knee in the opening minutes of his team's Wednesday night season-opener. Giles was playing his first game for famed Oak Hill Academy, a prep school in Mouth of Wilson, Va.

On Tuesday, Giles tweeted: "Finally here. We coming out the cages tomorrow!! Game tomorrow at Galax High School @ 7pm #OHA"

The injury, which requires surgery, is the second major setback to Giles' knees.
