Three Alabama redshirt senior starters, five years in 'the process,' earn respect of team

NEW ORLEANS — The survivors of Alabama’s football program returned to campus this past winter, surveyed the scene and wondered where all their friends had gone. From a 26-person signing class of 2013, unsurprisingly ranked as the nation’s best, just three remained: cornerback Anthony Averett, center Bradley Bozeman and wide receiver Robert Foster. They shared a laugh.

Of that signing class, 10 would transfer.
