Texas' head coach Charlie Strong: "I'm not going anywhere"

Ever since former Miami Head Coach Al Golden got the boot, Texas’s Charlie Strong keeps getting linked to the Miami job.

It’s a classic case of sources saying one thing and the head coach saying another.

On Monday, Strong once again reiterated his wish to stay with the Longhorns and finish out his five-year contract, of which he still has three years after this season.

“I’ve told my players I’m not going anywhere,” Strong said. “I’m here for the duration and I’m here to stay.”

Strong owns a 10-13 record in his first two years and sits at 4-6 in a disappointing 2015.
