Texas Longhorns Defense

The 2014 Texas Longhorns offense struggled behind QB Tyrone Swoopes in place of an injured David Ash. Texas has to replace 6 of the 11 starters from a defense that helped them sneak their way to a 6-7 record last year and qualify for a bowl game. With major hits to all three phases of their defense the Longhorns will hope that new additions and returning faces can fill the shoes left behind.

The defensive backfield was undoubtedly Texas’ strongest unit last season.
