Temple football: Former player dead at 25

Sad news came across the radar for the Temple football program as former defensive lineman Adrian Robinson passed away at the age of 25.

The cause of Robinson’s death is still unknown at this time.

Robinson, who was picked up by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent played short stints with the Steelers, Eagles, Broncos, Chargers, Redskins and Buccaneers before finally moving on to the Canadian Football League.

In his career at Temple, Robinson had a total of 156 tackles, 22 1/2 sacks in 50 games for the Owls.
