Sports Briefing | College Football: South Dakota State Sacked by Snowstorm

South Dakota State, which was 8-2 and fighting for a Football Championship Subdivision playoff spot, was delayed by a snowstorm for 10 hours at the Sioux Falls, S.D., airport on Friday on the way to play Western Illinois, the university spokesman Jason Hove said. Once South Dakota State finally got off the plane in Peoria, Ill., to make the 70-mile drive to Macomb, its bus was stuck on the highway for over an hour because of an accident.
