Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg is leaving college early for the N.F.L. Hackenberg declared his intentions after the Nittany Lions’ 24-17 loss to Georgia in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla.
Hackenberg, a junior, is Penn State’s career leader in yards passing (8,457) and touchdowns (48) as well as completions, attempts and total offense.
