Kameron Chatman has been granted his release from Michigan’s basketball program and plans to transfer. The 6-foot-8 Chatman averaged 2.8 points per game and made only two starts for Michigan in 2015-16, but his last-second shot to beat Indiana in the Big Ten tournament helped put the Wolverines in the N.C.A.A. tournament. He will have two seasons of eligibility left after sitting out the 2016-17 season.
