The Paul Bunyan Trophy stayed with Michigan in 2024.

The Wolverines took down Michigan State by the final score of 24-17 in Saturday's Big Ten showdown, snapping a brief two-game losing streak.

Davis Warren started under center for the first time since Sept. 14 and wrapped up an efficient performance. Warren finished 13-of-19 for 123 yards and a touchdown without recording a turnover.

Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore also utilized quarterback Alex Orji in the run game, as he picked up 64 yards and a score on six carries.

Moore's offense got creative against the Spartans, as running back Donovan Edwards threw a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter on a trick play.
