Seth Russell has a fractured bone in his neck

Baylor has started the season 6-0 and is currently the No. 2 team in the country behind one of college football most potent offenses. However, they will be without the most important component of that unit for the foreseeable future.

During the fourth quarter, Seth Russell scrambled in an attempt to gain a first down. He did not get the first down, but did pick up an injury on the play, one that will probably cause him to miss significant time.

According to Chuck Carlton: "Update on Baylor QB Seth Russell: X-rays and a CT scan revealed a fracture in one of the bones of his neck.
