Rutgers Investigating Football Coach Over Possible N.C.A.A. Violation

Rutgers confirmed Tuesday that it is investigating its football coach, Kyle Flood, over an allegation that he improperly contacted a faculty member about the academic status of a top player.

Earlier Tuesday, NJ Advance Media reported that Flood had emailed a faculty member from a personal account in reference to Nadir Barnwell, a junior cornerback who is reportedly close to being academically ineligible to play.
