The bad news continues to roll in for Kyle Flood and the Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Just days after five members of the team were arrested for assault and home invasion, and summarily suspended indefinitely, Rutgers has officially dismissed the group.

Nadir Barnwell, Dre Boggs, Razohnn Gross, Ruhann Peele and Delon Stephenson are the five players who have been dismissed.

While some fans were banging the “innocent until proven guilty” drum, this was probably the move that Rutgers had to make, in light of all the bad press surrounding the program.
