Anthony Gill scored 16 points, Malcolm Brogdon had 13, and No. 6 Virginia bounced back from its first loss of the season with an 82-57 victory over Bradley at the Charleston Classic in South Carolina on Thursday night.
The Cavaliers (2-1) fell at George Washington on Monday and opened Thursday’s game a bit sluggish. They trailed by 22-19 in the opening half before going on an 18-3 run to put the game away.
Virginia will face Long Beach State on Friday night for a spot in Sunday’s championship game.
Luuk Van Bree led Bradley (1-2) with 16 points.
