Rollie Massimino was a basketball coach until the day he died

Rollie Massimino died before he could be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. He was selected as a finalist in 2017 but fell short of induction. His coaching career is certainly worthy of inclusion.

Reasonable minds can differ over an accomplished coach gaining entrance to the Hall. If you closely examine his rich life in the game, few can match the years Massimino devoted to basketball and all he endured to stay on the floor until the end of his days. Rollie Massimino was truly a basketball lifer, and he coached the game until his dying days.
