Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher is slated to receive a raise and contract extension, according to multiple reports.
Fisher, whose Aggies enter the 2021 season ranked No. 6 in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll, was already one of the highest-paid coaches in college football after agreeing to a 10-year, $75 million contract with Texas A&M in 2017.
According to the Houston Chronicle, first to report the news, Fisher's annual average pay will bump up to the $9 million range and he will have three years added to his contract.
