The Mountain West Conference is reportedly set to make Conference USA's UTEP a full-time member across all athletics.
Brett McMurphy of the Action Network reported the two sides have come to an agreement, adding "an official announcement is expected today."
ESPN's Pete Thamel first reported the MWC and UTEP were "in deep discussions."
Thamel and McMurphy have both reported Texas State has also held talks with the Mountain West about possibly joining the conference.
The Mountain West is rebuilding on the fly after Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State, Colorado State and Utah State recently all announced they are moving to the Pac-12 beginning in the 2026 season.
