Report: USC's Osa Masina charged with first-degree rape, forcible sodomy

USC linebacker Osa Masina has been charged with first-degree rape and two counts of first-degree forcible sodomy according to police in Utah, ESPN's Kyle Bonagura reports.

Masina, who has been suspended from the football team and banned from campus, plans to surrender to police later this afternoon. Bail was reportedly set at $250,000.

The alleged incident took place in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, on July 26, when a woman was assaulted by Masina. The same victim was allegedly assaulted by Masina in Los Angeles. Police in Utah were working with investigators in Los Angeles.

Masina allegedly had non–consensual sex with the woman and sent the video to her ex-boyfriend through Snapchat, according to an affidavit.
