Penn State is nearing an agreement with Ohio State defensive coordinator Jim Knowles to take the same position on the Nittany Lions coaching staff, according to Yahoo Sports' Ross Dellenger.
Pete Thamel of ESPN reported the three-year deal on the table will average $3.1 million annually.
