Oklahoma State landed a potential starting big man for next season with the addition of Washington transfer Jernard Jarreau, according to a report from Terry Tush of GoPokes.com.
The 6-foot-10 center is graduating from Washington in June and will be eligible immediately to play for the Cowboys. Jarreau started 21 games as a redshirt junior last season for the Huskies and averaged 5.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game. He missed 10 games after arthroscopic knee surgery on Jan. 17 and came back to play in Washington’s final six games.
With Oklahoma State returning a few big men with minimal career production, this is a nice addition for head coach Travis Ford.
