It looks like quarterback Malik Zaire wasn’t the only player Notre Dame lost for the season due to injury in Saturday’s win over Virginia.

According to Irish Illustrated’s Pete Sampson, red-shirt sophomore tight end Durham Smythe will miss the remainder of the year after suffering an ankle injury vs. the Cavaliers.
