The field at Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium will be named after legendary former football head coach Nick Saban, according to ESPN's Chris Low.
Per Low, Alabama' system board of trustees will meet on Friday to approve the naming. A ceremony dedicating the new name to Saban is expected to be held on Sep. 7 as the Crimson Tide face off against South Florida.
Saban retired on Jan. 10 after spending 17 seasons at Alabama, winning six national championships with the school.
