Report: NCAA sends Notice of Allegations to Rutgers with seven possible violations

The NCAA has reportedly issued a Notice of Allegations to Rutgers noting seven possible violations, according to NJ.com.

The violations involve the Rutgers football program, including the instance academic misconduct that occurred under former coach Kyle Flood, who was suspended for three games by Rutgers before being fired in 2015.

Flood is accused of providing an extra impermissible benefit to cornerback Nadir Barnwell after Flood directly contacted one of Barnwell's professors asking for Barnwell to receive special consideration in the course. Flood is also reportedly charged with "failing to promote an atmosphere of compliance in the football program" by the NCAA.
