University of Miami quarterback and Heisman Trophy candidate Cam Ward has reportedly been making a positive impression on NFL talent evaluators this season.
According to ESPN's Matt Miller, "multiple" NFL scouts have Ward as the No. 1 quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft class ahead of the likes of Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, Georgia's Carson Beck, Texas' Quinn Ewers and Penn State's Drew Allar.
After starring for two seasons each at FCS Incarnate Word and Washington State, Ward transferred to Miami for the 2024 season, and that decision has paid dividends.
