With 10 seconds to play, Michigan leading 23-21 and the Wolverines lining up to punt, there weren’t many who thoughts that Michigan State had much of a chance to pull a miracle in Ann Arbor. Apparently, even the team’s equipment staff thought the game was over.

According to Scout’s Sam Webb, Michigan State had already dropped off the game’s rivalry trophy – the Paul Bunyan Trophy – in Michigan’s locker room. Clearly, they had to go retrieve it once the game actually ended.

Know how over MSU’s equipment staff thought it was?
