Just over a week after Michigan fired offensive coordinator Kirk Campbell, the program has found his replacement.
Per ESPN's Adam Rittenberg, the Wolverines reached a deal with former North Carolina offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey to be the next offensive coordinator on Tuesday. According to Rittenberg, Michigan had been targeting Lindsey since Campbell's firing and a deal was expected.
Lindsey coached at the high school level from 1997 to 2009 when he landed his first collegiate job as the quarterbacks coach for Troy. He was an offensive analyst at Auburn in 2013 before taking on assistant roles at Southern Miss and Arizona State from 2014 to 2016.
