Former Georgia quarterback Justin Fields reportedly spent time on Ohio State's campus on Friday, according to The Athletic’ Bruce Feldman. With Fields visiting Columbus, the Buckeyes' chances of landing the top QB on the transfer market now look "very promising", per The Athletic’s Ari Wasserman.
Fields came to Georgia as the No. 2 overall recruit in the class of 2018, according to 247Sports, and No. 1 overall in the eyes of some other outlets. But the highly-touted QB sat behind sophomore Jake Fromm in 2018, then entered the NCAA’s transfer portal in mid-December.
