The Pac-12 is reportedly working on a revival that would see it poach four major football programs from the Mountain West Conference.
As first reported by Ross Dellenger of Yahoo Sports and later confirmed by ESPN's Pete Thamel and Chris Vannini of The Athletic, the Pac-12 is targeting Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State and Colorado State to rebuild the Pac-12 alongside holdovers Oregon State and Washington State.
The move reportedly could be announced as soon as Thursday, and Brett McMurphy of The Action Network noted that the aforementioned MWC teams would officially join the Pac-12 in 2026.
