Each week during the season, the USA TODAY Sports college staff (Paul Myerberg, Lindsay Schnell, George Schroeder, Erick Smith, Eddie Timanus and Dan Wolken) will provide their answers to an intriguing question from college football. This week:

Which team with two or more losses — meaning it is not a true playoff contender — will have the biggest impact on the final five weeks of the season?

I’ve narrowed this down to three names: Iowa, Texas Tech and Utah. Each will play two unbeaten or one-loss Playoff contenders. While the Red Raiders and Utes could upset the apple cart, Iowa seems the most likely to take down at least one favored opponent and cause havoc to ensue in the postseason chase.
