SUNSET, S.C. -- Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said injured quarterback Deshaun Watson was fully cleared by the school's medical staff to take part in football activities.

Watson played with a torn ligament in the Tigers' 35-17 victory over South Carolina in November and had surgery on his right knee in December. Swinney has said Watson has had above-average rehabilitation and has looked strong the past several weeks.
