Georgia could have intrigue for the starting quarterback job in 2020 if the college football season is played.
Southern Cal quarterback transfer JT Daniels revealed Monday he has gained immediate eligibility to play without having to sit out season.
“Thank you to the NCAA for granting me immediate eligibility and allowing me to play football this fall,” Daniels tweeted. “I will not comment on the waiver or transfer, but look forward to a great 2020 season with my teammates.”
Daniels gives Georgia coach Kirby Smart and offensive coordinator Todd Monken two players who have started for power five conference programs at quarterback to choose from.
