Two of the West Coast's better teams this season will battle Wednesday night when BYU takes on Wyoming at 9 p.m. ET in the 2016 Poinsettia Bowl in San Diego on ESPN.
The Cougars are no strangers to bowl season, having made it to postseason play for the 12th straight year. However, the team impressed with an 8-4 finish this season under new head coach Kalani Sitake, who took over for Bronco Mendenhall.
Meanwhile, the Wyoming program is undergoing a revitalization under Craig Bohl. After combining for six wins in the first two seasons under Bohl, the Cowboys won eight games in 2016 en route to securing a berth in the Mountain West title game.
