Penn State rallies past Wisconsin to win Big Ten

INDIANAPOLIS — Well this makes things interesting.

Penn State continued its second-half wizardry Saturday night, erasing a 21-point deficit on its way to a 38-31 victory against Wisconsin to win the Big Ten title. And it gave the College Football Playoff committee a very large headache in the process.

Ohio State is widely considered the best team in the Big Ten. It’s ranked No. 2 in the CFP rankings by everybody and considered a lock for one of the four playoff spots. Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany acknowledged as much before the game, saying he thought the selection committee was already set on top-ranked Alabama and the Buckeyes.
