James Franklin is a smart man, he knows that Rome wasn’t built in one day –and his 2015 Penn State football team won’t be any different.

Chrisitan Hackenberg played three quarters in leading the Blue team to a 17-7 win over the White team on Saturday at Beaver Stadium in front of 68, 000 Penn State fans.

The junior signal caller wasn’t supposed to play that much, but a last minute change in availability for backup Trace McSorely forced Franklin’s hand. Hackenberg took the change in stride, and ended up being a treat for fans who made the trip.
